What is Wyndham Rewards and La Quinta Returns Status Match?
Wyndham Rewards and La Quinta Returns have partnered together to offer reciprocal status to eligible members of both loyalty programs. By successfully completing the Status Match, members will receive the valuable benefits of both programs.
How does Wyndham Rewards and La Quinta Returns Status Match work?

Matching Into Wyndham Rewards
Am I eligible to apply for a Status Match in the Wyndham Rewards program?
To be eligible to apply for the Wyndham Rewards Status Match, you must be a La Quinta Returns Gold, Military Rewards Gold, Elite or Military Rewards Elite member in good standing, and you must be, or become, a Wyndham Rewards member in good standing.
How do I apply for my Wyndham Rewards Status Match?
It’s simple! If you are an eligible La Quinta Returns member, click here and follow the instructions to apply for your Wyndham Rewards Status Match. You cannot apply for a Status Match through any other method, including the call center, app or at any Wyndham Rewards participating hotel.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Status Match will not occur unless the last name and email address used in your La Quinta Returns member profile matches the last name and email address used in your Wyndham Rewards member profile.
How can I change my last name and/or email address in the member profile of either my La Quinta Returns or Wyndham Rewards member account?
To change the last name and/or email address in the member profile for either program, you can call La Quinta Returns at 1-800-642-4258 or Wyndham Rewards at 1-866-996-7937.
When does my Wyndham Rewards Status Match go into effect?
If you are an eligible member of the La Quinta Returns program, you will be matched immediately after you successfully submit the required information here and your La Quinta Returns membership is verified.
If I successfully complete a Status Match in Wyndham Rewards, will I receive the same GOLD/PLATINUM/DIAMOND Member Level perks as Wyndham Rewards members who earn these Member Levels as the result of completing Qualifying Nights?
You will receive most of the perks offered to such Wyndham Rewards GOLD, PLATINUM or DIAMOND members (as applicable). Consistent with the Wyndham Rewards Member Levels terms and conditions, in order to earn any point bonus that may be available to eligible members of your new Member Level, you would need to complete the requisite number of Qualifying Nights. I’m currently staying at a hotel that participates in Wyndham Rewards and just completed my Status Match online. How do I take advantage of my new Wyndham Rewards Member Level?
If you have successfully completed your Status Match in Wyndham Rewards and are currently visiting a hotel that participates in Wyndham Rewards, simply log in to your member account here or download the Wyndham Rewards app to access a digital version of your member card and present it to the hotel’s front desk staff to receive your new Wyndham Rewards member perks. On-property perks are subject to availability and will be awarded in accordance with the Wyndham Rewards Member Levels terms and conditions. You are not entitled to Wyndham Rewards Member Level on-property perks at La Quinta properties; any on-property perks offered at such properties will be governed by the La Quinta Returns terms and conditions.
When I first applied for the Wyndham Rewards Status Match, I was Gold Status in the La Quinta Returns Program, and received the Gold Member Level in the Wyndham Rewards Program. Since that time I’ve become an Elite member in La Quinta Returns. How do I upgrade my Wyndham Rewards Status Match?
If you previously received a Status Match but have since obtained a higher level in the La Quinta Returns program, you are eligible to apply for the upgraded status in the Wyndham Rewards Program in accordance with the Status Match terms and conditions. You can apply for the upgrade here.
When does the Wyndham Rewards Member Level I obtain from the Status Match program expire?
The Member Level you receive in the Wyndham Rewards program by virtue of your Status Match expires on December 31, 2019.
Is your Wyndham Rewards Status Match permanent?
No. The Member Level you receive in the Wyndham Rewards program by virtue of your Status Match expires on December 31, 2019.
Can I apply for a Wyndham Rewards Status Match if I live outside the U.S.?
All eligible La Quinta Returns members, regardless of where they reside, may apply for a Status Match in the Wyndham Rewards program, so long as they are Wyndham Rewards members at the time of application. The Wyndham Rewards program is free to join.
Does applying for a Status Match in Wyndham Rewards keep my Wyndham Rewards points from expiring?
No. Wyndham Rewards points expire in accordance with the Wyndham Rewards program terms and conditions, regardless of whether or not you apply for and/or receive your Status Match.
Does applying for a Status Match in Wyndham Rewards reactivate my inactive Wyndham Rewards account?
No. However, a Wyndham Rewards member can reactivate their account by earning, redeeming or transferring points or Travel Partner Currency in accordance with the Wyndham Rewards program terms and conditions.
Can I gift my Wyndham Rewards Status Match eligibility to a family member or friend?
No. Your Wyndham Rewards Status Match eligibility is non-transferable and cannot be gifted or redeemed by another person.
My Wyndham Rewards Status Match application did not go through. What should I do?
If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above and your Status Match was not successful, please contact Wyndham Rewards Member Services at the applicable number found here.
I am a La Quinta Returns Gold or Military Rewards Gold member in good standing and am also already a Wyndham Rewards Gold member, or I am a La Quinta Returns Elite or Military Rewards Elite member in good standing and also a Wyndham Rewards Platinum member; will I receive any higher status in Wyndham Rewards by participating in this offer?

A Wyndham Rewards member must click here and log in to their Wyndham Rewards member account to transfer their Wyndham Rewards points to their La Quinta Returns member account.
What information do I need to provide to transfer my Wyndham Rewards points to my La Quinta Returns member account?
A member must enter their last name, email address, La Quinta Returns member number and number of points to be transferred in the respective fields.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Points Transfer will not occur unless the last name and email address used in your Wyndham Rewards member profile matches the last name and email address used in your La Quinta Returns member profile.

How many Wyndham Rewards points can I transfer to my La Quinta Returns member account?
There is no limit to the number of points you can transfer. You must transfer points in increments of 1,000; therefore, the minimum number of points you can transfer is 1,000.
Can I transfer my Wyndham Rewards points into another member’s La Quinta Returns member account?
No. You can only transfer your Wyndham Rewards points into your La Quinta Returns member account.
Is there a maximum number of Wyndham Rewards points I can transfer to my La Quinta Returns member account?
No. You can transfer as many Wyndham Rewards points as are available to you to your La Quinta Returns member account as long as you transfer them in increments of 1,000 points. There is also no cap to the number of transfer transactions you can make.
Do Wyndham Rewards points have the same value as La Quinta Returns points?
Wyndham Rewards points can be transferred into La Quinta Returns points at a conversion ratio of 1:1. Meaning, 1 Wyndham Rewards point equates to 1 La Quinta Returns point. Please note, this point conversion ratio is subject to change at any time without notice.
How long will it take for my Wyndham Rewards points to transfer into my La Quinta Returns member account?
Upon a successful points transfer transaction, the points will transfer to your La Quinta Returns member account immediately.
Can I cancel my Wyndham Rewards points transfer after I submit it but before the points appear in my La Quinta Returns member account?
No. However, once the Wyndham Rewards points transfer to your La Quinta Returns member account, you can transfer them back to your Wyndham Rewards member account in accordance with the points transfer terms and conditions.
How will I know if the points transfer occurred?
Wyndham Rewards members who transfer their Wyndham Rewards points to their La Quinta Returns member account will receive a confirmation message on the Wyndham Rewards website as well as an email from Wyndham Rewards once the transfer is successfully completed.

Wyndham Rewards Members can begin earning and redeeming Wyndham Rewards points at La Quinta hotels on April 3, 2019. Be sure to sign up to receive Wyndham Rewards emails for the latest information.
Can I earn Wyndham Rewards points for stays at La Quinta hotels?
No. Wyndham Rewards members cannot earn Wyndham Rewards points at La Quinta hotels until La Quinta hotels begin participating in Wyndham Rewards on April 3, 2019.
However, eligible La Quinta purchases (including room payment) earn Wyndham Rewards points when paid with the Wyndham Rewards® Visa® Card.
